The Brief
Our challenge is to successfully land the new Absa brand. To get Kenyans to see it engage with it and be inspired by it.
The Idea
Kenyans love sports and they come together to see, cheer and encourage sports. Kenya has produced very many long distance running champions. We took this as our insight and created a marathon called “Torch of Possibilities”. Signed Eluid Kipchoge as our brand ambassador and through him asked Kenyans to join a marathon called “Torch of Possibilities”.
Absa pledged to donate some amount per person who participated in the Marathon This money was supposed to be used for betterment of society. Hence leaving a good impression of Absa Bank on Kenyans.
